Plain English Summary: CardVerdict shows you PSA comp data and grading margin estimates on eBay listings. This information is for reference only — not financial advice. We do our best to provide accurate data but we can not guarantee it. Use your own judgment before making any purchasing decisions.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CardVerdict, including our website at cardverdict.io and our Chrome browser extension (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using CardVerdict you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

CardVerdict is a Chrome browser extension and web service that overlays sports card pricing intelligence on eBay search results and listing pages. The Service provides:

PSA graded card comp data sourced from third-party market data providers
Grading margin calculations based on current market pricing and estimated grading costs
BUY, CAUTION, and PASS verdicts based on calculated margin at various grade levels
Liquidity indicators based on historical sales volume data
AI-powered condition estimates from listing photos (clearly labeled as BETA)

2. Important Disclaimers

Not Financial Advice. All pricing data, margin calculations, verdicts, and condition estimates provided by CardVerdict are for informational and reference purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, or purchasing advice. You are solely responsible for any purchasing decisions you make.

Data Accuracy. CardVerdict sources comp data from third-party providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing data displayed. Market prices for sports cards fluctuate rapidly. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable for certain cards — particularly parallels, numbered cards, newer releases, and rare variations.

AI Condition Estimates. Our AI-powered grading feature is clearly marked as BETA. Condition estimates are generated from listing photos using artificial intelligence and are approximate only. They are not a substitute for professional grading by PSA, BGS, SGC, or any other recognized grading service. CardVerdict makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy of AI condition estimates.

No Affiliation. CardVerdict is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), eBay, Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, or any other grading company, marketplace, or card manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

CardVerdict offers subscription-based access to the Service. By subscribing you agree to the following:

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers
Founding member pricing, where offered, is locked for the duration of continuous subscription. Cancellation forfeits founding member pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CardVerdict to:

Scrape, copy, or redistribute pricing data from the Service for commercial purposes
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Chrome extension
Use the Service in any way that violates eBay's Terms of Service or any applicable law
Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access a single account
Attempt to circumvent any subscription or access controls

5. Intellectual Property

CardVerdict and all associated content, features, functionality, design, trademarks, and logos are owned by CardVerdict and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardVerdict shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from purchasing decisions made in reliance on CardVerdict data.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to CardVerdict in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CardVerdict at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the Chrome extension.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CardVerdict shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
